Our Paths To Partnership

1. Project Support / Promotional

Whether you are an existing group, creating a project, hosting an event, or have a resilient local business – we can help support your efforts in a variety of ways. By E-Mail, Facebook and our Website, we offer organizations / individuals a place to host the details of your activities and connect you to a larger network of like-minded people. All activities must align with our mission, vision and principles.

2. Exchanges

Mutual exchange, usually in the form of time, are the most appropriate for the Transition model. Sharing, gifting and generally supporting each other is what we are all about.

3. External Organizational Development

Many community organizations share two things in common – lack of volunteers and low internal group capacity. Often it is due to a lack of awareness around effective group facilitation practices. Transition Prince Rupert can offer existing groups facilitation, team building and effective group process workshops to greatly increase your internal capacity and relationship dynamics. The way to success and results is through enjoying the process along the way and building a team environment. Our workshops will  provide the tools for smoother and more efficient internal operations.

4. Project Co-Development

A joint partnership spells success, but also can be a challenge when two or more groups come together. Each group has their own mode of operating, their own internal functioning and hierarchy. We suggest for any large joint ventures, for example pursuing cooperatively owned Wind Energy, that the beginning of the partnership be facilitated in a manner that begins with team building, facilitation training and group process overview. This provides the grounding for long term success and healthy relationship dynamics throughout the lifespan of the project.
